Amazing Condition 1929 Holton Llewellyn Vintage Bb Trumpet. Favorite 1920s Horn. Clean and Dent Free. Still plays amazingly as do almost most surviving Llewellyn models. Valves are as slick, fast, and quiet as they come. Great Compression, Lots of colors in rich tone. Exactly as pictured.

The Holton Llewellyn professional B flat model was the premiere trumpet model of the Holton company designed with and by One of the most famous trumpeters of the era, Edward Llewellyn. It is regarded by some as the finest instrument in the company history. Edw. Llewellyn was the first trumpet of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in the 20’s and 30’s. He was one of the most well known trumpet players of his time. (Renold Schilke studied with Llewellyn starting in 1928.) He played Holton Revelations exclusively and this is simply a version of such with a large bore to suit his use
